About the newsroom

sorry·nda is a business publication: news, a company directory, an industry events calendar and a showcase of investment projects. We publish in six languages: English, Russian, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

What we publish

News and analysis about companies, markets and deals; company profiles built on verifiable facts; industry event announcements; investment projects that have passed moderation. We have no categories — a story is described by one to five tags.

Who writes

Every story is produced by the sorry·nda newsroom. Our byline is collective: a story is signed by the newsroom rather than by an individual name, and the publication as a whole answers for the text. We deliberately do not run personal author pages.

Each language edition has an editor responsible for what appears in that locale: they check the facts, the terminology and the spelling of names before publication.

How the language editions work

Stories are written in Russian first. The initial translation into the other five languages is produced by a language model and always goes through a manual review by the editor of that locale, who verifies figures, names, company names and quotes. Nothing is published without that review — machine output never reaches the site directly.

How we make money

We do not charge for publishing news and we do not sell places in the company directory. Submitting an investment project is free, and passing moderation is not an investment recommendation.
